Abelha Organic Cachaça Gold is a traditionally produced Brazilian cachaça that focuses on organic farming and small-scale distillation. Made by Abelha Cachaca, it is distilled from fresh sugarcane juice rather than molasses, using organically grown cane sourced from Bahia in Brazil. The fermentation and distillation process is carried out in small batches, emphasising minimal intervention and preserving the natural character of the raw material. After distillation, the spirit is aged in small wooden casks made from Brazilian hardwoods, a practice that differs from the more common use of American oak.
