Anaë is a Premium French organic Gin created from an internal project within Champagne Bollinger. Yes, that's the Champagne House that James Bond has a bit of thing for! Anaë was first launched in France in September 2021.
Crafted with only 8 natural, 100% organic certified botanicals. All 7 botanicals are chosen to enhance the juniper. Each is harvested by hand in France. They include Chamomile, Cornflower, Lemon Thym, Lemon Verbena, Fenugreek, Maceron seed.
The unique recipe is further distinguished by the addition of maceron (also known as Marsh Pepper), that's wild harvested on the Ile de Ré. The Gin is distilled and bottled in Charente, near Cognac.
Anaë has been borne of a passion to create an exceptional French Organic Gin in the most virtuous and responsible way, that respects the terroir, biodiversity and people.
Aroma: A citrus nose filled with mandarin and kumquat with fresh pear. Spice notes of Szechuan pepper and anise are also present. The nose evolves with white flowers, blueberry and a hint of dried walnut present.
Palate: Beautifully complex with vegetal notes, roots of liquorice, pear, clementine and candied mandarins. There is a long finish with minty and aniseed touch.
Serve: It's wonderful enjoyed neat, or with a premium tonic and works great in cocktails.
Production: Juniper and coriander seeds are macerated for up to 48 hours in 100% organic grape based spirit. Infusion of the six other ingredients is made directly inside the vat. Distillation takes place through copper alembic stills. The distillate is then slowly reduced for up to 2 months to reach 43%.
