Balvenie Sweet Toast of American Oak 12 Year Old is the first whisky in the Balvenie Stories collection. This creamy, sweet single malt is finished in heavily-toasted virgin American oak casks from Kentucky, with a higher level of fruitness than many others in the Balvenie range. The sweet, malty aromas of fudge mixed with citrus and oaky vanilla interplay with spice ginger and warm cinnamon. The palate initiates with notes of candied orange peel, vanilla toffee and butterscotch, evolving at ease into flavours of melted brown sugar, honey and rich oak spice. A highly delectable, complex whisky. |
