The Bertani winery was established in 1857 by Giovanni Battista and Gaetano Bertani. The brothers were driven by innovations right from the start, understanding the value of bottled wine better than any other winemaker in Italy at the time and were exporting their wines around the world by the end of the century.
Bertani owns over 200 hectares of vineyards today, but their heritage is as important as ever. Commitment to quality is a part of the Bertani tradition, as well as consistency. Nowhere is this better illustrated than Amarone Bertani which has retained the same packaging since 1958. |
