Black Cow Vodka is the unique invention of Jason Barber, a dairy farmer from West Dorset. Looking to diversify the range of produce from his cattle, he looked to his passion for vodka as inspiration.
Black Cow Vodka is made by separating milk into curds and whey. The curds are removed and used elsewhere to make cheese, but the whey is then fermented using a special strain of yeast that can process milk sugars. The resultant "milk beer" is them distilled, blended and triple filtered to make a smooth, creamy vodka entirely unlike any other. |
