Blackwell Rum

Blackwell Rum is the creation of Chris Blackwell, famous for founding Island Records and bringing reggae music to the world. Blackwell's grandfather owned J.Wray & Nephew, renowned Jamaican rum distillers, making him well placed to develop his own blend of rum.

Developed in collaboration with master blender Joy Spence, Blackwell Rum is a way for Chris Blackwell to share the very essence of Jamaica with the world. It is a blend of pot and column still rums and is inspired by the lifestyle of Jamaica. A percentage of all sales go towards Island ACTS (Assisting Communities Toward Strength) - a community development project in Jamaica.
