Blue Nun

Blue Nun is one of the world's oldest and best known German wine brands, created in 1921 by H. Sichel Sohne, who had been wine producers since 1857. Blue Nun grew in popularity, marketed as a drink to pair with any food, bypassing the sometimes thorny issue of food and wine pairing which appealed to a lot of people.

By the turn of the millennium, Blue Nun had grown to become the best distributed German wine in the world.
