Background: Only available in limited quantities, Cardu is the outstanding single Highland Malt Whisk produced at Cardu Distillery, one of the oldest on Speyside, long acknowledged as the finest whisky producing region in Scotland. This whisky is the distillation of the natural elements that surround the distillery. Taking pure, soft water that springs from the Mannoch Hills; the finest malted barley is selected. The Whisky is slowly distilled in swan-necked copper stills, watched over by craftsmen drop by drop. It's then matured for 12 years in old oak casks, producing a full flavoured single Malt Whisky. |
