Ciroc is the creation of Jean-Sebastien Robicquet, born from generations of wine makers and distillers dating back to the 15th century. His distillery, Maison Villevert, has been in his family for over 500 years.
Ciroc is distinguished from other vodkas as it is derived from grapes, rather than using grain, potatoes or corn. Mauzac Blanc grapes from the Gaillac region of France, and Ugni Blanc from the Cognac region are fermented and made into wine. This wine is then distilled five times in both column stills as well as a traditional copper pot still to ensure the best possible flavour. |
