Deutz Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2013 has seductive hues and delicate silvery green tints, characteristic of Chardonnay wines, combined with a fine and perpetual effervescence. This Blanc de Blancs has a complex nose with notes of hawthorn and enticing aromas of fruits, such as pear and kumquat, underpinned by a subtle menthol backbone. It's the perfect combination of integrity, directness, elegance and complexity. On the palate, it's direct and fresh, with a creamy, mineral texture, typical of the chalky Mesnil soils in which the grapes grow. A slightly rustic character originating from the Villers-Marmery terroirs gives this wine extra depth. The wine then reveals floral aromas, complemented by delicate aromas of peach. The finish is long, lingering and intense.
