Dingle Batch No.6 Single Malt Irish Whiskey is Dingle Distillery's sixth release in their Single Malt Batch series. This sixth release has been exclusively matured in Tawny Port Casks. This is the first ever release from Dingle Distillery that's been matured exclusively in Tawny Port Casks. This Batch no.6 exemplifies the interaction of Single Malt and Fortified wine. It's a whiskey with multiple layers of sweetness and a well-balanced depth of flavour.
Nose: Waffles and maple syrup, thick cut marmalade, butterscotch, and crystallised ginger.
Palate: Rich fruit and spice in the mouth. Stroopwafels furnished with syrup, redcurrant jelly, crushed cranberries, gingerbread, and dark chocolate.
Finish: A lively finish with increasing sweetness. Ginger spice and honeyed dates come forth.
