Glenfarclas 12 Scotch Whisky is adored for its sherry bomb, spicy notes, dried fruit and sweeter notes. It was originally bottled for the export and travel market. Back in 2006, it was named the 'Best Sherried Whisky' in the Single Malt World Cup.
Smooth and not peaty. It's 100% aged in Oloroso Sherry Casks. This 12 year old is an excellent introduction to the distillery's style of whiskies and for those who enjoy a sherried whisky. It has been crafted to be consumed neat or with a drop of water. Try it accomanied with smoked salmon or iberico ham.
A vibrant amber gold in colour. The nose opens fresh and beautifully light. There's sherried fruit combined with a tempting spicy sweetness and a hint of sappy oak. It's full bodied with a delightful sherried fruit, oak and deliciously moreish sweet sensations. The long and flavoursome finish has a lingering spiciness.
