Glengoyne 15 Year Old is a bright gold in colour. Light fresh fruit aromas, apple, pear and apricot with a hit of zesty lemon that gives way to a sweet toffee popcorn note. A rich, oily mouthfeel that lingers on the palate. A malty taste, bringing biscuity flavours, toffee, walnuts and a little spice. Dried tropical fruit notes bring balance to the profile. The 15 Year Old is blended from 30% first fill American Oak Bourbon casks, 20% first fill European Oak Sherry casks, and the remainder hand-selected quality Oak Refill casks. It is bottled, like all Glengoyne whiskies, without the addition of any colour. An exceptional malt to savour at the end of the day. |
