Grolsch
The Grolsch brewery was established in 1615 in the Dutch town of Groenlo, known at the time as Grolle, which gives the beer its name; Grolsch translates as "of Grolle". The Grolsch brewery moved to a new state of the art facility in 2004, but refused to give up their prized spring water used in their beer, and so built a 7km long pipeline to draw the water from its original location. |
