A Single Grain Scotch Whisky, Haig Club is made exclusively at the Cameronbridge Distillery; the oldest grain distillery in Scotland. Enjoyed by whisky connoisseurs and as well as those new to Scotch Whisky: it has a light, clean and ultra-smooth taste - delicious served neat or as part of a cocktail #mixspiration. Enjoy Haig Club, served the way you like. The liquid has been crafted using a unique process that combines grain whisky from three cask types. This creates a fresh, clean style that showcases butterscotch and toffee flavours for an ultra-smooth taste. Seen by many as Scotland's hidden gem; single grain whisky is being predicted by experts as the next big trend in whisky. Working alongside the brand owner, Diageo, the world biggest spirits company, footballer David Beckham and music producer Simon Fuller are both involved with the brand to take Haig Club to the world.
The Haig Club Bottle
The blue glass bottle was inspired by the tradition of the blenders at Haig where they use blue tasting glasses, so the spirit can be reviewed on aroma and taste alone. The colour of the closure was inspired by the copper stills that were historically used to distil grain whisky. The bottle has been designed in association with Dave Palmer, Creative Director at LOVE, to have all the substance and authentic storytelling of a classic whisky, but realised in a radically different form. Square, blue and without a label - the bottle breaks with convention for traditional scotch to deliver something that is hopefully startling, beautiful and pure.
History
Haig Club is built on nearly 400 years of distilling heritage. The House of Haig can trace its whisky producing roots back to the seventeenth century. In 1824 John Haig established the Cameronbridge distillery and it was there that he pioneered the art of producing grain whisky in continuous coffee and stein stills. This invention laid down the foundations for the growth and success of the modern Scotch Whisky industry. Haig Club has blossomed from that Haig family legacy of innovation and excellence in whisky making. The unique Haig Club bottle design draws on a history of innovative bottles produced by the House of Haig, including the Haig Dimple Bottle, that's recognisable the world over. The Haig Club brand has been inspired in part by archive materials dating back to the 1920's when Haig whisky was advertised as "The clubman's whisky". |
