Haymans
Haymans distilling heritage dates back to 1863 with James Burrough, who would become famous for introducing Beefeater Gin to the world. Generations later, distilling still runs in the family; Burrough's great grandson Christoper Hayman acquired one of Burrough's numerous old distilleries in 1988 to begin producing his own range of gins. Hayman's distillery produces a range of gins, which interestingly all use the same range of botanicals in their recipes, but change the proportions to highlight different flavours in each offering. The whole range is lovingly crafted in a copper pot still named Marjorie in memory of Christopher's mother. |
