Isle of Jura 1989 Rare is a 30 year old single malt whisky matured in American white oak bourbon barrels. A limited release whisky of just 1,500 bottles. Each bottle comes presented in an eye-catching wooden presentation box, with each bottle bearing an individual bottle number.
Amber gold in colour. On the nose, you get honeyed pear, fresh baked bread, ripe bananas and vanilla. To taste, there's rich, syrupy peaches, cinnamon spice, toffee apples and smooth white chocolate. The finish is smooth, long and satisfying.
