Kahlua was first produced in 1936, its name translates as "House of the Acolhua people" in the Aztec language. Kahlua is crafted from a variety of ingredients all found in Veracruz, Mexico. Native Arabica coffee beans are infused for four months in rum distilled from locally sourced sugarcane juice.
Kahlua is a combination of Mexican heritage, diversity and flavour, making an extraordinary liqueur used in a range of cocktails, but also ideal with desserts. |
