Dark red in colour. Luxardo Sangue Morlacco is intense in aromas, with the inebriating perfume of the marasca cherries. It has a good body, and a very rounded palate. It's quite different from normal cherry-brandies, in both the intensity of the cherry's typical taste, which is markedly enhanced and through the unexpected expansion of the after-taste, which makes Luxardo Sangue Morlacco exquisite when combined with pure chocolate. Known as Luxardo's second historical speciality liqueur, after Maraschino Originale, Luxardo Sangue Morlacco Cherry Liqueur is a liqueur made from Marasca cherries (a sour cherry variety exclusively cultivated by Luxardo). It's is obtained by the infusion of fermented marasca juice, matured for two years in oak vats. |
