Passoa passion fruit liqueur was created by Cointreau's Master Distiller in 1985, on an expedition to Brazil in search of new flavours for a recipe. Whilst there he discovered the passion fruit, falling in love with its distinctive flavours.
Upon returning to France, he set to work creating Passoa liqueur, taking inspiration from the finest ingredients of Brazil and most importantly the beloved passion fruit. Concealed in a secretive black bottle preserving the sensuality of the passion fruit, Passoa liqueur has for thirty years delighted people around the world, opening up a new world of cocktail options. |
