Pol Roger Pure Extra Brut is the newest addition to the Pol Roger range of Champagnes. This cuvee seeks to craft a wine in it most natural state, without the addition of any dosage (sugar for sweetening).
Fresh, light and elegant in style, it has a refreshing taste of minerality. Fine beading bubbles in the glass, it has delicate and bready aromas, with a bright citrus palate. A crisp champagne, with a chalky finish.
This champagne is an expression of the diversity of terriors. It's born from the perfect balance of the three traditional regional grape varieties - chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier, all blended in equal proportion. Pol Roger selectively chooses reserves wines drawn from across at least three year to gain the perfect balance of flavour and structure necessary for a non-dosage Champagne.
The inherent freshness of this champagne, combined with its mature and concentrated bouquet, makes it ideal with shellfish, crayfish and other types of seafood.
