Portia
Bodegas Portia first set up wine making in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain in the 1990s. After planting vineyards in the area, Portia 2003 was born, a wine that won the Best Tempranillo in the World award. Bodegas Portia hosts a unique winery designed by Norman Foster and built to fuse form and function. Designed in the shape of a three-pointed star, the grape harvests are fed into the centre and the three points are used for vinification, fermentation and ageing. It has become a popular tourist destination in the area. |
