Russian Standard
Russin Standard vodka is the creation of Russian entrepreneur Roustam Tariko. Russian Standard vodka is said to be made according to the specifications of Dmitri Mendeleev, the Russian scientist better known for creating the periodic table, but also credited with setting the Russian government's standards for the highest quality vodka. Russian Standard vodka is four times distilled from winter wheat and blended with water from Lake Ladoga, noted for being one of the softest waters available. The vodka is then filtered at least four times through charcoal and, unlike many vodkas, it is finally allowed to "relax" in tanks for 48 hours in order to allow the ingredients to marry for balance and smoothness. |
