Soave Vintage by Bertani is a wonderfully aromatic, crisp, dry and refreshing Soave from Italy's Veneto region. Aromas of sage, mint, elderflower and cherry blossom come to the fore. On the palate, there are chunky notes of peach and apricot. A great wine with fish dishes, pasta with white meat or tomato sauce. It also works great with white meat dishes too.
Around 40% of the grapes are picked in the third week of September and crushed and fermented off the skins using traditional methods. The remaining grapes are carefully selected and picked in late October. Pressing and fermentation with the skins, at a controlled temperature of 20C for a period of 15 days. At the end of this phase, the two wines are blended together. The wine is aged on the lees at the end of the alcohol fermentation in concrete vats. This allows a slow and progressive maturation in an environment with constant temperature and micro-oxygenation conditions.
