Jeroboam, 3 litre bottle. Taittinger Nocturne has a pale yellow colour with delicate, fine bubbles. A subtle nose, that's fresh with white blossom and ripe fruit notes and overtones of yellow peaches and dried apricots. Soft, fresh and mellow on the palate with delicate floral and ripe fruit flavours. The long aftertaste is soft with a subtle sweetness.
This rich, rounded and well balanced champagne is ideal for enjoying at the end of an evening. It works great with dessert or foie gras.
Taittinger Nocturne is a 'Sec' Champagne which makes it sweeter than a Brut NV Champagne. The wine is aged on its lees for a minimum of 4 years but often longer, before being disgorged. A dosage of 17.5g of cane sugar per litre is added before bottling. This dosage is twice that of the Taittinger Brut Réserve NV.
