Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream liqueur is the creation of McCormick Distilling Co. founded in 1856 in Missouri by Ben Holladay with the intention of producing whiskey. The company survived prohibition in America by receiving a licence to produce whiskey for "medicinal purposes", but more recently has begun expanding to produce a more diverse range of spirits.
Tequila Rose is one of the products of McCormick's diversification; a blend of strawberry cream liqueur and tequila. A versatile product, Tequila Rose is good enough to be served straight up, but mixes extremely well in cocktails or in hot drinks. |
