Profound and deep violet red in colour. Brimming with red fruit, cherries, sour cherries, dry plums, raisins and permeated by delicate floral scents (violet) and touches of toasted vanilla and caramel. A wine of great structure and body with mature tannins. Distinguished for its sumptuous character, robust volume and concentrated fruit, also displays an attractive complexity and a long mouth.
As part of a recent change in the labelling of this product, it is no longer branded as 'Selection'. Terrazas have dropped this word in preference of it simply being called Terrazas (de los Andes) Malbec. |
