Tetleys

Tetley's Brewery dates back to 1822, when it was founded by Joshua Tetley in Leeds, who acquired it for £400 and immediately began head hunting the most skilled brewers and maltsters from across the North of England. As the business grew, Joshua began acquiring ale houses to distribute his beer. By 1960, the brewery owned an estate of over 3000 pubs across the region and beyond.

Today the brand remains hugely successful as the second best selling brand of ale in the world.
