Tyrconnell is double distilled in traditional pot stills for extra character. It's then matured in ex-bourbon casks, giving this uniquely soft and elegant whiskey itD distinct flavours. The Tyrconnell is elegant and sophisticated. On the palate, it's fresh fruit-filled flavours give way to smooth notes of honey and citrus, with a delicate, dry and lasting finish.
Tyrconnell is named after the champion racehorse of the same name. It was against tremendous odds that Tyrconnell sailed to victory many years ago, stunning onlookers and earning himself a place in history. In honour of his glorious feat, the Watt family of distillers have chose to infuse the same triumphant spirit into every drop of this unique Irish single malt whiskey.
