The Veramonte vineyards cover an impressive 500 hectares of the Casablanca and Colchagua valleys in Chile. Established in 1990 by Agustin Huneeus with over 40 years of experience in winemaking, the area was chosen for its terroir and its similarities to California's famous Napa Valley wine growing region.
Veramonte believes great wines are a reflection of their origins; the soil, climate and people involved. With this in mind, Veramonte strives to give a great deal of care and attention to their vineyards, working to care for the environment by eliminating pesticides, using controlled irrigation to conserve water and protecting the native forests which surround their vineyards. |
