The 2015 vintage of Veuve Clicquot Vintage Brut presents the 67th vintage declared by the Veuve Clicquot Maison, since the very first vintage created by Madame Clicquot, back in 1810.
The dominance of the Pinot Noir, that is exclusively sourced from grapes selected from the Grand Cru and Premier Cru villages, provides the typical Clicquot structure. Chardonnay brings elegance and finesse, while small amount of Pinot Meunier creates a rounded blend.
The Veuve Clicquot Vintage collection is unique for its use of wines vinified and aged in large oak casks. This adds strength and aromatic intensity. The cask-aged wines bring an additional complexity with their spicy notes and subtle hints of roast coffee and toasty aromas.
